Evi Tommysdóttir Djurhuus (born 1981 as Evi Tommysdóttir Tausen, she uses Evi Tausen or just Evi as her artistical name) is a Faroese country singer and guitar player. She grew up in Froðba, Faroe Islands, and Kastrup, Denmark, and currently lives in Porkeri, Faroe Islands with her family. Both of her parents are Faroese.
Evi Tausen started her musical career in 2010 when she released a single with two songs by Jim Reeves: "How's the world treating you" and "He´ll have to go". The recordings were made in Kris-Stuff Studio in Hoyvík, by Jákup Zachariasen. Some of the Faroese musicians were Pætur við Keldu and Heiðrun Petersen, Pætur við Keldu also sings backing voice on one of the songs.[1] In November 2011 Evi released an album (CD) with the title: "Evi - Wishing Well". The CD was recorded in Nashville i co-operation with several American songwriters, i.e. Brent Mason, who also produced the album. Stig Rossen Nancke (born June 14, 1962 in Glostrup) is a Danish singer and actor.
Rossen graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1990, but he was already known to a wider audience when in 1988 he became No. 4 in the Danish Melody Grand Prix with the song "We dance rock and roll", with music by Jørn Hansen and text by Helge Engelbrecht. Then the debut album was Love and everything that was released on Engelbrecht's company, Pineapple Records.
Right after graduation, he became part of the ensemble in Cameron Mackintosh's Les Misérables (based on the novel by Victor Hugo) at the Palace Theater in London and three months later was offered the lead role as Jean Valjean in the same performance. He has since appeared in several musicals including Chess and Østre Gasverk's production of Les Misérables, where he took over the role from Kurt Ravn. He has also voiced several Disney films, e.g. Mulan and Lilo and Stitch and sung songs for Tarzan and the Bear Brothers.#EviTausen #StigRossen #CountryMusic #CountryClassic
